About the author
Rachel holds a BA English Honours from the University of Exeter, and it was while at university that she began to explore her talent for writing and storytelling. In her final couple of years, she held the position of Features Editor for the university’s student newspaper, Exeposé.
After graduating, Rachel quickly began to build her reputation in the field of journalism, working for loveMONEY as Deputy Editor, TravelSupermarket as Editor, and MoneySupermarket as Managing Editor. Over the years, she has become well-regarded for her skills as a features writer and editor, as well as for online journalism, publishing, and copywriting.
When she’s not creating confectionary masterpieces at home, she’s on the job, scouting out the top stories on personal finance topics such as life insurance, personal loans, equity release, and credit cards, as well as pursuing her interest in energy and home improvement.
